Lenice currently serves as a project manager (Science & Policy) for CORDIO East Africa. She has over nine years of experience working on development-focused projects from 2010, transitioning to more research-oriented work in 2014. Her past six years have focused on transforming coastal and marine resource management within Western Indian Ocean region (WIO) through research, encompassing multilevel climate change adaptation and governance; community-based natural resource management with a focus on artisanal fisheries management and community-driven management of marine litter.

Dr. Richard Joseph Kimwaga (PhD), holds Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, M.Sc. Water Resources Engineering, M.Sc. Environmental System Analysis and PhD in Environmental Engineering. He has attended a number of professional and short courses trainings on various issues related to water resources management, sanitation management and hygiene promotion. Currently, Dr.
Professor of Environmental Geochemistry and administrator. He has conducted and published research on pollution of water (rivers, streams, lakes, dams, groundwater, ocean), soils and air, as well as on environmental impacts of geothermal energy resources.
Dr. Mwita M. Mangora is Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Marine Sciences - Zanzibar of the University of Dar es Salaam. Dr. Mangora conducts research, training and consultancy on mangrove ecosystems protection, management, restoration and their role in safeguarding environmental integrity and supporting local, national and global economies and development.
I am a Lecturer and researcher at the University of Dar Es Salaam, School of Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Technology. I have more than 10 years of professional experience in teaching, research, and consultancy in marine fisheries and socio-ecological systems, Fishers' traditional knowledge, marine protected areas, conservation, and development. I have a good understanding, with broad knowledge, of the dynamics in tropical small-scale fisheries, management as well as capacity building.

My educational background is fisheries and Aquaculture with a Master's degree in Fisheries science. My expertise is fisheries and Aquaculture value chain, with working experience of over 12 years in fisheries and management, resource monitoring, and fisheries project management. My aquaculture expertise focuses more on marine fish species while fisheries management based on both inland water and marine fisheries.
